You & your role
As Managing Business Architect for Tribe ALM (Asset & Liability Management), you play a key role in ensuring the bank provides consistent, compliant, and timely insights into liquidity and interest rate risks for internal and regulatory purposes. Your work directly supports our Head of Treasury and ultimately contributes to a stable, resilient financial system.
You lead a diverse team of business architects and guide solution architects operating under your functional responsibility. Together, you design, modernize, and govern the architecture that supports Rabobank’s balance sheet management, liquidity management, capital planning, and market risk in the banking book.
You act as a trusted advisor, able to translate business needs into clear architectural choices. You build bridges between people, domains, and perspectives—ensuring alignment across strategies, processes, data, technology, and teams spanning Risk & Finance, W&R Markets, and beyond.

Top 3 responsibilities
- Develop a future‑proof ALM architecture by structurally aligning strategy, processes, data and technology for Treasury and Risk & Finance.
- Safeguard the integration of Treasury ALM within the Risk & Finance architecture by implementing and communicating architectural principles, guidelines and frameworks.
- Lead and coach a diverse group of Business Architects and Solution Architects, providing direction on modernization initiatives and improving ALM capabilities.
You create clarity, direction and cohesion within a complex landscape where strategic choices, data quality, regulation and technology intersect. As a result, you directly contribute to the reliability and long‑term resilience of the bank.

You & your talent
- Academic working and thinking level with 10+ years of architectural experience in IT and financial services with banking experience being a strong advantage
- Experience with balance sheet, liquidity or interest rate risk management in large organizations.
- Experience with architecture methods and tooling
- Coaching leadership style and strong communicator, with demonstrable managing (HR) experience.
